 Thanks for reviewing. Essentially, the checks were an attempt to ensure we
 only modify the wp-admin and run the update checks, only if:

 * We are on the BP_ROOT_BLOG

 For multisite when our menus are in the network admin, we need to run in
 the content of the BP_ROOT_BLOG.
