 @ubernaut : no problem, thank you for taking a look.

 I'm keen we don't see these as final though as said. They are just where
 we got in the last look. I personally plan to explore other layouts and
 encourage others to. I'll try and respond to your points and hopefully
 clarify some things:

 1. These are wireframes so yes.. kind of liney :) However, a lot of things
 may change and can change once we're working on them.
 2. Colour was merely there as a suggestion of 'states'.  Personally I'm
 not sure any wireframe is there yet though so would be keen to explore
 other ways.
 3. That was a menu box. Again it's all up in the air and open for
 exploration.
