 In the short term, I could add back (or make sure) that the author's
 gravatar is in the left-most position, if there's interest?

 For longer term plans, I'd like to wait until we get the buddypress.org
 themes open-sourced (soon™, I promise). I hope that will attract new
 design contributions, and I'd like to see those folks help us drive this
 forward.
