 I'm trying to translate the budypress plugin into Portuguese, however
 every time I place the .po and .mo files, as directed by the site
 br.buddypress.org, I lose access to my wordpress control panel (get an
 Internal Server Error message).  I can only regain access to the control
 panel after I rename the buddypress plugin folder, so as to cancel out the
 plugin.

 With the buddypress in its original form, I also tried installing other
 buddypress language related plugins, and get the same error message.

 Interestingly enough, the site itself does not crash, just the control
 panel.

 Please help
