Comment:

 User registration works fine for me, and on our testbp.org site. This
 problem could be related to your theme, conflicts with other plugins, or
 server email configuration issues. If you haven't already, post on the
 BuddyPress.org support forums with some more details (which host you're
 using, does this problem still occur when using the BP-Default theme /
 disabled all other plugins, etc).
