 This may not be the right place, but an enhancement to Changeset 4971,
 which Boone announced [http://bpdevel.wordpress.com/2011/08/12/custom-
 post-types-comments-and-the-activity-stream-in-bp-1-5/ here], needs to be
 able to save an action or something which allows for a customized activity
 record other than "John wrote a new post on the site John's Books".

 Not all custom post types are posts (they could be sermons, products,
 wikis, etc) and having a built-in common sense way of modifying that,
 without having to create a large code snippet

 With CPTs becoming more and more common, having straightforward support
 would be a welcome improvement.
