 Hi Paul,
 I was just experimenting with custom WP_CONTENT_DIR / WP_PLUGIN_DIR /
 BP_PLUGIN_DIR constants, got stuck on BP setup and found this ticket.

 I'm on trunk and I found 3 spot with hard-coded path in ...bp-core/admin
 /bp-core-update.php:

 once these line were corrected, BP setup was completed successfully and
 I'm playing right now with it and see no other errors so far.
