 Thanks @boonebgorges -- I disabled already.

 My follow-on comment was that I am anxious to see when the feature gets
 rolled-out with some utility and usefulness. At the present time, Friends
 does nothing more than build a list of "My Friends" on the Members
 Directory. It does nothing more than that.
