 I would like to recommend that BP use WP function 'the_excerpt' for
 displaying post information in the activity stream. This would allow for
 predicable behaviour, and allow prebuilt plugins like 'Advanced Excerpt'
 to give control of post info in Activiyt stream back to BP users.
