Comment:

 magnus78, thanks for the patch. I've reviewed it, and it doesn't account
 for the $group parameter which can be set. This may have been why this
 function was built like this. Can you take a look, and see if there's a
 solution? We may just need to run the group description filter in this
 function.

 I've moved this out of 1.7, but if we get a good patch, it can go back.
