Comment:

 I can't recreate. Can you check for any message in your server's PHP error
 log (ask your host for support if you do not know how to do this)? Are you
 able to use Developer Tools in any modern web browser to 'inspect element'
 on that extra space, and figure out where the extra styling is coming
 from?
