 You know what I see missing from this.. instantiating the BP router as a
 global singleton and secondly, methods for other plugins to use these
 router functions. They need to be able to register/unregister, and be able
 to check for instances of slug collisions and such things.

 This could be the beginning of a BuddyPress Plugin (Component) API, for
 third party plugins.
