 On a brand new install of wordpress, no other plugins, using the latest
 buddypress (as found from searching plugins in the wordpress install) the
 forums fail to be installed properly.

 When attempting to install the site wide forums everything appears normal
 until visiting the front end, no forums link is added to menu. When trying
 to directly access forums it redirects to home page.

 If the page it is linked to (forums) is deleted however, the user can
 directly visit the forums, but the back end throws up the error that there
 is no page for forums.

 Also, in the forum setup page in buddy press, the button still indicates I
 can install site wide forums, but when clicked it tells me the forums are
 already installed.

 I have reproduced this twice now, once on an install with custom theme,
 once on fresh install using default buddy press theme
