 Currently BuddyPress relies on a custom theme to handle the presentation
 of BuddyPress content. This is uncool for most situations and provides no
 ability to easily meld an existing theme with BuddyPress functionality.

 Please use this ticket for discussion, patches, and commits towards
 BuddyPress theme compatibility for the 1.6 dev cycle.
