 +1 to what Paul said. Do it the easy way for 1.3. Then we can get a real
 cross-site search function for 1.4. As for the AJAX loop, I would prefer
 to have a server-side, template-based implementation first. AJAX loading
 can be added later as a progressive enhancement.
