 Just updated 1.3 checkout and these reversion to func names appear to have
 broken:

 bp_members_get_notifications_for_user() - undefined function

 had been using this since approx 1.2.6 or thereabouts

 However just checked and changing to:

 bp_core_get_notifications_for_user()

 is working ok
