 I think it should go to the associated content too.

 This will in turn help plugin developers who have their own customised
 activity streams point to their relevant components - and not cause a
 'culture shock' to users who might be already used to a permalink page
 instead. Besides, all activity streams already look like each other.

 To the uninitiated, there is no clear distinction between the components.

 Phew! Sorry, didn't intent for it to be such a mouthful. :)
