Comment:

 2989-0.patch fixes the problem by concatenating the posts table name (for
 use in the query) out of $wpdb->get_blog_prefix( BP_ROOT_BLOG ) when MS is
 turned on. I believe that this is as lightweight a solution as is
 possible, but I would like some feedback before committing it.
