Comment:

 I don't really care too much about this one way or another. There's a 'or
 press esc to cancel' message by the Post button, which seems fine to me.
 Clicking outside the box and having it close seems like it's just as
 likely to cause people to accidentally close the reply window.

 If I were pressed to decide, I'd say leave it like it is. Or maybe change
 the 'esc' message to a full-fledged Cancel button/link.
