 I have a very good & important suggestion -- change the Buddypress footer
 links to have the link anchor text to "Social Networking Software" (in a
 non-tacky looking way) so that Buddypress shows up on the first page in
 Google for that search term instead of as like result #50 as it currently
 does.

 People searching for those terms would then likely become buddypress
 users. Google shows 74,000 global searches per month for "Social
 Networking Software" currently....about 18,000 more for "social network
 software".
