 Right now, you have to input in the IMG HTML code into the activity update
 or forum post so your picture is displayed:
 http://www.w3schools.com/tags/tag_IMG.asp

 You could possibly accomplish this with a WYSIWYG editor plugin like:
 http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/bp-tinymce/
