 I can confirm this as well.  Using WP 3.0/BP 1.2.5.  Avatars for groups
 and members seem to be either missing or the reference is now broken for
 them.  Were working fine with WP 3.0/BP 1.2.4 and prior combinations.

 In case it is a factor, our theme is a heavily modified version of the
 Aperture theme from Woothemes.  You can see the issue in action here:
