#1707: Disable Buddypress Plugin Last When Upgrading

 When I upgraded the site to 1.2 beta, I installed and activated BP
 Backwards Compatibility
 then disabled the BP plugin and immediately the site displayed only blank
 pages.
 I went ahead and uploaded the new files thinking that might fix it, but it
 did not.
 So I went into the database and found the site wide enabled plugins list
 and removed them all.  Site came back up and I  could enable the BP plugin
 and proceed.
 I had several site wide BP aware plugins enabled.  I believe the fix is to
 disable the other plugins, enable BP Backwards compat, then disable the
 old version of BP followed by uploading files etc.
