 Not sure if there's time for this in BP 1.2, but this feature enhancement
 makes sense for those who want something resembling the deprecated wire
 component / Facebook wall.

 To prevent excessive queries, the @mentions tab can be shown only if
 you're logged in and viewing a displayed user's profile.
