Comment:

 In your Dashboard, go to BuddyPress > Forums Setup. There will be a link
 to re-install bbPress, follow the steps (I think it's only 2 clicks total)
 then give it a try. Make sure to report back here with the results, so we
 can either close this ticket, or look into this further. For future
 reference, this probably would have been better posed in the forums at
 buddypress.org.
