 1.2-rc3 works fine with WPMU. I got this when I installed the new 1.2-rc3
 on a site running WP 3.0 bleeding edge:

 Fatal error: Call to undefined function bp_dtheme_show_on_frontpage() in
 /var/www/*************.com/test/wp-content/plugins/buddypress/bp-themes
 /bp-default/home.php  on line 9
