 Thanks, couple of points on the patch:

 I would consider that new function a template tag, despite it not being
 used in the template in this instance. Remember that all these functions
 need a get_() function that returns, and a non-get_() function that echos.

 There is also a function that does this already, so I'll use that:
 bp_loggedin_user_domain()
