#1184: Error when trying to upload avatar

 We are getting an error when trying to upload/change avatar. After a user
 clicks upload they are then returned to a error page stating:

 Catchable fatal error: Object of class WP_Error could not be converted to
 string in /home/meganc/public_html/wp-content/plugins/buddypress/bp-core
 /bp-core-avatars.php on line 264

 Any ideas?
