[buddypress-dev] weird download links on trac

I am trying to download the zip files listed on:
http://trac.buddypress.org/wiki/installing-buddypress

the links there don't work with wget in my shell, well, they do, but
they don't return zip files.

I know in theory I could use svn,  but I don't have it (and for some
weird dependency reason I don't care to bother with right now because
I use HG on my projects, I can't install it either).

Do I really really need to dl the zip files to my client and then
upload them to the server? That is kind of a pain for me and for
people in general, can't the links just point to the files?
