[buddypress-dev] Groups: invite non-site members?

Hi,

Nick Grossman here from the Open Planning Project.  We produce and  
maintain a bunch of WP and WPMU sites, and are experimenting with  
Buddypress for one of our projects.

Question regarding group invitations:  right now, you can only invite  
your friends to be group members.  Are there plans to extend that to  
other site members, or people who haven't joined the site yet?
