[buddypress-dev] problem with cropping tool in IE7, FF

Getting some strange behavior in the latest build of BP.

Avatar cropping tool jumps to the top in IE7. In Firefox, it's ok on  
the first screen but the next screen it completely breaks.

So my questions are:

1. Anyone else having this issue?

2. Is there a way to simply ask the user for a picture and  
automatically MAKE THAT THE AVATAR (bypassing the cropping tool  
altogether)?
