We have now started to tag components with version numbers. If you
don't plan on writing any code, but simply want to try out or test
BuddyPress components you should read the following:

http://trac.buddypress.org/wiki/installing-buddypress

Anyone not planning on developing should basically avoid the trunk in
SVN from now on.

Based on the new roadmap: http://trac.buddypress.org/wiki/roadmap we
will be tagging releases of each component when the functionality
listed for that version has been completed. This will give the
opportunity for people to download that version and test it.

I've just tagged version 0.1.1 of the core and the extended profiles
component. The bug fixes from 0.1 are:

  - Fixed: Avatar uploads where the uploaded picture would not show up
and the cropping box would overlap a grey box.
  - Fixed: Signup field element layouts for checkboxes and select boxes
  - Fixed: Signup field callback values when validation fails
  - Fixed: Inability to upload an avatar when using sub folders
  - Fixed: Blog switcher tab highlighting when using sub folders
  - Fixed: Category, archive, page and other link problems when using
the extended profile component (can someone confirm this, as it is
hard to test on a blank install).
