I have started the building process with Joomla and the Community Builder plug in.  But then I received an email with a reference to Buddypress in it.

Specifically, do you - or any other list member - know which additional plug ins may be necessary to achieve this type of web site?

playing of music files, but BuddyPress can handle the core of a
community site very well. I'd be interested in hearing some more about
this project as I'm a musican (well, I used to be, but now I'm much
