Comment:

 I'd really appreciate a patch against the file in svn rather than the
 chunk of code above.

 It's not clear what code goes where. I presume into the
 iis7_url_rewrite_rules() function, but does the second piece of code
 replace only part of the first piece or all?

 A patch would be really helpful.
