<div dir="ltr">I actually would rather have a forum than a mail list. We could then break the conversations up into categories and participate in those areas that are most relevant. Furthermore, we can subscribe via email to the forum topics that are relevant to us.<br>

The standard argument that I usually use for these things is that mailing lists are 'push' and forums are 'pull'.<div><br></div><div>I *will* read my email several times a day. But with the best will in the world, I *will not* visit a forum several times a day to to see what the latest conversations are (I might intend to, but I know it never happens).</div>
<div><br></div><div>And whilst I know that's sort of what RSS feeds are for, I still only check my feed reader every couple of days on average.</div>
