 If you want to use a standards-compliant API in your perhaps cross-

 interface#0.2.x-devmodules modules], you may find
 [https://packagist.org/packages/wp-oop/transient-cache#dev-develop wp-oop
 /transient-cache] helpful. Besides the obvious benefits, it also protects
 you from using keys that would cause some of the problems described in
 this ticket.
