 Hi there, welcome to WordPress Trac! Thanks for the ticket.

 Just noting that WordPress does have a
 [https://wordpress.org/support/article/wordpress-widgets/#using-rss-
 widgets built-in RSS widget] and a
 [https://developer.wordpress.org/reference/functions/fetch_feed/
 fetch_feed() function] to retrieve RSS feeds, so it's not quite clear to
 me what exactly is being requested here.
