 This makes sense. @audrasjb, do you think the link that says "Disable
 autoupdate" is enough to convey to the user that the auto update is "on"
 for that plugin? I think it might be because it follows a similar pattern
 for the "Activate" links under the plugin name.

 the existing controls (button-links) for 5.4 and iterate later :)

 I would love to get to a toggle control for this in the near future. I
 believe it would communicate the action much more clearly than a link.
