 Ok, the first part of my problem is solved thanks to @flixos90

 My code was missing a auth_callback, but the issue that a nested error
 will not return the information that the user itself was created is still
 an issue.

 Without testing, I assume that the same problem will also occur for any
 other item type, in case of posts leading to double postings.
