 Replying to [comment:28 westonruter]:

 Yeah, Quicktags is not as easy to work with as TinyMCE :) Need to remove
 the instance by hand, also the "ref instance" so it rebuilds the buttons.
 Added `wp.editor.remove()` to make that easy.
