 I see I'm a bit late to the party lol, doh!

 @tsimmons interesting thought about removing the subdomain(s) from the
 email domain, didn't think of that. Though one could argue it might be
 desired for some sites to include the subdomain in the email domain. I'm
 not that familiar with multisite but wouldn't that be one of the cases
 having the subdomain in the from header is actually desired?

 With all the patches supplied, can I assume this will be fixed soon asap?
