 I chatted with @ocean90 about the use of “one” or “1” here, which was also
 brought up in Twenty Sixteen:
 https://github.com/WordPress/twentysixteen/pull/283#issuecomment-143795415

 Numbers starting a sentence should always be written as words and not
 digits. Compare:

 "1 reply is unread" vs "There is 1 unread reply"

 The first is clearly not prescribed writing style.

 In this case here for [attachment:39087.11.diff], however, the digit “1”
 is appearing inside the sentence instead of at the start, so having number
 word is less of an issue. Normally in english numbers from 1 to 100 are
 written out as words, but in the case here we're talking about using “one”
 just for the case of a single widget area but using digits for all other
 numbers, so this is not consistent. For consistency and for space
 constraints (since 1 is shorter than “one”) we concurred on using the
 digit number “1” in this case.
