 @FolioVision @WraithKenny the discussion on this ticket is full of
 personal opinions (always welcomed) ''without any actual data'' to support
 them. I'd strongly encourage to prove with data the real need for a syntax
 highlighting feature which, by the way, it's not the only feature
 CodeMirror has. I'm open to change my mind when someone can prove
 CodeMirror would be appreciated and actually used by 80% or more of end
 users.
 As I see it, these kind of comments don't add any positive value to the
 discussion and just repeat thoughts already expressed on previous
 comments.

 Also, comments that sound like personal attacks ("You can't be serious?"),
 or terms like "crap", or sarcasm, are not welcome here.
