 Wanted to mention a proof-of-concept plugin along these lines:
 https://github.com/Blobfolio/svgeez

 @drrobotnik KSES is not fully XML-compliant nor extensible in the right
 ways to make it work with SVG. SVGeez employs DOMDocument-based parsing
 for environments supporting it, and a KSES-like fallback for those that
 don't.
