Comment:

 Can we get screenshots of the latest patch for the design team to review?
 Would be good to take a look through those and discuss in the next design
 meeting cc @karmatosed.

 Quickly re-reading the ticket, I like the direction this is heading in and
 think this would be a good quick win, that could potentially even be 4.7.x
 material depending on the defined scope of those continued point releases.
 This has long been a functionality gap between the admin and customizer
 and it would be great to finally close it.
