 Darn.

 OK, in that case, my initial comment stands. The magic flushing certainly
 didn't break anything on our environment in any of the test updates I ran.
 I heavily suspect that adding them will not be harmful to other folks
 still using `ms-files.php` - perhaps it's worthy of going in relatively
 early in the cycle to allow people to test.
