 I dig the idea of creating a preview image/thumbnail to make it easier to
 visually distinguish documents inside the media library. I think we should
 make sure the top level attachment metadata (e.g. mime-type, etc.) refers
 to the PDF and not the preview image.

 We probably should include a thumbnail since that will get used in some
 places but I wouldn't want the preview images to be thought of as a front-
 end experience solution. I would think something like
 https://mozilla.github.io/pdf.js/ might make for better front-end previews
 if we were going to go down that rabbit hole.
