Comment:

 I have updated it and changed some tests.

 The filter `sanitize_file_name_chars` is almost not needed anymore with
 PCRE. The moment PCRE isn't available a lot of things still need to
 cleaned up. I assume this is a bug because output should always be the
 same (or close enough).
