 From what I've read above, having

 {{{
 table {
   border-style: solid;
   border-collapse: collapse;
 }
 }}}

 in your theme stylesheet is enough to break the media modal. That's when
 current jQuery falsely reports the table to be visible even though it

 issue on GitHub] mentioned above.
