 I've also ensured that the changes here do not break the functionality and
 unit tests for the [https://github.com/xwp/wp-customize-widgets-plus
 Customize Widgets Plus]'s [https://github.com/xwp/wp-customize-widgets-
 plus/blob/master/php/class-widget-posts.php Widget Posts] module, which is
 does quite a bit of low-level integrations. The unit tests for the plugin
 pass, along with the Core unit tests with the plugin active.
